We utilize two five axis CNC routers to create patterns from 3D models. This allows Altec to produce patterns with dimensions as large as 25 feet by 15 feet by 6 feet, that is, practically any part that you may have in mind. A 3D model can be provided to us, or designed by our design department, as discussed in our Design Process.

Pattern modification can easily be done with the materials we utilize. Also, we can alter the CAD data and reindex the pattern to ensure the modified pattern remains true to the design.

We use our pattern shop primarily to create patterns that we use in-house. However, we are more than happy to create a pattern for any purpose and have a number of recurring customers who have their own relationship with a different glass supplier.
